This training course focuses on universal credit (UC), the centre piece of the Government’s welfare reform programme.

This two-morning course provides an overview of the benefits system and examines how the system fits together. 
 

This is essential training if you are starting out as a welfare rights adviser in Scotland or need a good understanding of the benefits system. 

Make sure you are up to date with how recent benefit changes and current issues impact on kinship carers.

You do not need to be a benefit expert to make a difference. This course is for anyone working with people in Scotland on low incomes or with additional needs.
