How in-house training works
Do your staff need an overview of benefits? Do they need to support low-income families to manage benefit change? Do staff need specialist training on benefits for their client group?
In-house courses, which are available online and in-person, are the most economical option if you have more than five members of your team who require training. CPAG can provide in-house courses to meet the learning needs of your group or organisation, and we can help you design a tailored training package just for your staff, from awareness sessions for any frontline staff to training for specialist advisers.
"The training was amazing and the trainer kept everyone engaged through a long day where the training was very complex but incredibly helpful. There were ooh's and aah's around the room as the trainer delivered golden nuggets to attendees! Everyone went away enthused about how it will help clients going forward ... A really great day."
Advantages of in-house training
In-house training provides a variety of advantages, including:
- Cost-effective - Opting for in-house training is a more economical choice when several members of your team are attending, reducing per-person costs compared to public sessions.
- Customised learning - Enjoy the exclusive attention of a welfare trainer for your organisation. Whether at your premises or in a private online session, the trainer can ‘confidentially’ address questions and adapt the content to meet the specific needs of your team.
- Flexible scheduling - With in-house training, you’re in control. Choose the start time and date that best fits the schedule and working patterns of your team.
- Reduced travel costs - For face-to-face sessions (currently available on our public programme in London), your staff can avoid the travel and accommodation expenses associated with attending public training events. You can also select a venue that works best for your team.
- Comprehensive service - We provide expert trainers and all the necessary training materials, ensuring a seamless and effective learning experience.
"Possibly the most thorough course I have ever been on - and thoroughness & attention to detail is just what is needed with this client group! Invaluable."
