We work in partnership with children and young people to understand what school is like for children in low income households and what needs to change.
Child Poverty Action Groups Youth Panel is made up of young people aged 14-19 from across London who work together to explore how poverty affects young people growing up.
Youth Panel members are passionate about tackling the stigma associated with growing up in a household that has less money. They work alongside other young people, policymakers and decisionmakers to raise awareness of the realities of poverty and to support more young people to bring about change in their own communities.
The Youth Panel has been running since spring of 2022.
Our Youth Panel meets monthly both online and in person. If you are a young person interested in joining our Youth Panel, or a member of school staff or professional interested in finding out more, please email: [email protected]
