Adult disability payment - an introduction
Adult disability payment (ADP) is a benefit for working-age adults in Scotland who have extra care needs or mobility difficulties because of a disability.
Pension-age claimants – income maximisation
Older people commonly do not claim all that they are entitled to. This course provides an introduction to pension credit and aims to help you with effective benefit checks to maximise income.
Universal credit - an introduction
Universal credit is now the only working-age, means-tested benefit for people in Scotland and throughout the UK. Claimants often need help to claim, comply with requirements, check their awards and challenge decisions.
Kinship carers and the benefits system
‘Kinship care’ is the situation in which a child goes to live with a member of their extended family or with a family friend. This course looks at benefit issues that arise for kinship carers.
