During Covid-19, the programme was delivered online, reflecting the experiences of children and young people at this time.
It is common for parents and carers who participate in the PIP programme to remain engaged with the school and go on to participate in other family learning activities. A number of participants have been supported to gain qualifications, volunteering opportunities and awards, with many of them going on to support Cost of the School Day activities within the school such as working groups and the uniform station.
There are plans to expand the programme to run additional groups in the evening so that more parents and carers can take part. Parents have been really positive about the experience:
