Our Youth Voice Champions in Wales have researched the impact of school costs on teenagers across Wales and are calling on the Welsh government to make school more affordable and ensure everyone has the food, resources and opportunities to make the most of their education.

Why it’s time to lower the cost of the school day

Everyone wants young people to be able to take part and be happy at school. But school costs can prevent this happening, especially for the 31% of Welsh children growing up in poverty. We think the next Welsh government should do more to ensure every student has an equal chance to fulfil their potential.
