Carer additional person payment is an extra payment which can be paid on top of carer support payment if you care for more than one disabled person.

You can get carer additional person payment if:
You can get carer additional person payment for caring for another person, even if someone else gets carer support payment, carer’s allowance, the carer element in universal credit or the young carer grant for them. However, you cannot get carer additional person payment for caring for a person, if someone else already gets carer additional person payment for them.
The 20 hours a week of caring can be carried out at the same time as you are caring for the person you get carer support payment for. For example, if you look after two children who both have disabilities and both get a qualifying disability benefit, you may be providing care for them both at the same time.
The people you care for must be getting one of the following:
Carer additional person payment is £10.00 a week for each additional person you care for.
If you are already getting carer support payment, tell Social Security Scotland that you want to get carer additional person payment on top of your carer support payment. You can contact Social Security Scotland by phone on 0800 182 2222
If you are making a new claim for carer support payment, you can claim carer additional person payment at the same time.
