Is your organisation passionate about improving children’s life chances?
Drawing on 60 years of expertise, we know what will lift children and families out of poverty. But we need your support to make sure those in positions of power act on our recommendations to tackle the root causes of poverty. Our trusted and expert information, training and advice helps families get the financial help they desperately need. Your funding could help run our vital services.
As one of our corporate partners, you can support our work through donations, or we can work with you to create an inspiring fundraising programme for your employees, customers and clients, so your company has the opportunity to give back in a way that works for you.
How your funding makes a difference
You can choose to fund our policy and research work, our education work with young people, welfare rights advice, our strategic litigation team and our work in Scotland. We also welcome unrestricted funding so we can direct finances to where we need them most.

Ways to fundraise for us
Corporate grants
You could deliver a significant impact for children in the UK with a corporate grant to Child Poverty Action Group. You can choose to fund a specific project or area of work, or donate unrestricted funding to our work.
Barclays funded CPAG’s Your Work, Your Way (YWYW) project which supported 70 clients in Bury, Coventry, Luton and Taunton with benefits advice and personal employment support. Over 54 per cent of YWYW participants moved into work or self-employment, 49 per cent achieved sustained employment for six months or more, and 76 per cent accessed work-focused training.
Sheffield Hallam Universities' independent evaluation of the scheme said:
“Some participants reported that taking part in YWYW had been life changing. Before the programme, clients reported feeling frustrated, distressed and unsure about the future. After taking part in YWYW, they felt greater self-fulfilment, self-worth and a sense of purpose.”
Brand partnerships
Many businesses have considerable brand reach, and so do we.
We can create marketing partnerships with other brands who want to improve the life chances of children and families in the UK. Together, we can reach new audiences and maximise impact through promotional activity, events, social media and other communication channels.
Your company could sponsor one of our welfare rights conferences, publications or events. It's an opportunity to enhance your corporate image, create positive news stories for your company and promote your business to a new audience. Our partnerships are bespoke, so we are keen to hear any ideas you might have too.
Employee fundraising and engagement
Whether you’re interested in running, cycling or walking, you want to create your own fundraising idea or you'd like to do something as a team or across your business, we’d love to work with you!
You could make us your charity of the year. We can work together to create an exciting and motivating calendar of fundraising events. Our team will be there every step of the way to support and inspire your fundraising ideas.
Another easy way for your employees to support our charity through payroll giving. Their donation is taken from their gross salary, before tax. This is a flexible, tax efficient way to give to a charity of your employees' choice through their salary.
Kohler Mira Ltd, one of our corporate partners in 2023/24, raised an incredible £36,222. Their employees fundraised for us through walks, runs and various other activities, and their fundraising was matched by the company. Their partnership with us and Cheltenham Town Football Club (CTFC) also saw proceeds from CTFC’s Boxing Day fixture generously donated to CPAG, as well as funds raised from sales of their exclusive third kit, designed by 6-year-old fan Ruby. Thank you so much to everyone at Kohler Mira Ltd who dedicated their time to raising funds for our vital work ending child poverty in the UK.
