Youth Voice in Wales
Youth Voice works with young people, their families and their teachers to find out what school is like for low-income households and what needs to change.
We want to understand and capture the lived experience of pupils and families living in poverty. We do this through participant-led, co-produced research and action plans.
We work directly with young people in the school we are working in, who:
We give school staff access to training resources to help promote a school-wide approach to poverty in schools. We know how busy you are, so we work flexibly within existing school structures and calendars. We support schools to reduce costs and be more inclusive places for those affected by poverty.
