Report and Recommendations from the National Event for Local Child Poverty Leads
In December 2018, the Improvement Service and CPAG in Scotland hosted a seminar for local child poverty leads bringing together representatives from local authorities and health boards as well as the Scottish Government, COSLA, SPIRU (Scottish Poverty and Inequality Research Unit) and NHS Health Scotland.
The objective of the seminar was to discuss initial progress on the duty on each local authority area to produce Local Child Poverty Action Reports (LCPARS) under the Child Poverty (Scotland) Act 2017. The report sets out recommendations for Scottish Government, national partners and local authorities / health boards.
