On 5 December, the government published the long-awaited, UK-wide cross-government child poverty strategy. The strategy contains a number of new policies to tackle child poverty, as well as previously-announced policies introduced since the government’s election last year. Taken collectively, the key policies in the strategy will deliver transformative change for some of the country’s poorest children and their families.
