Child Poverty Action Group in Scotland's expertise means we are well placed to inform and comment on debates and policy issues affecting children and poverty in Scotland. We can provide journalists with information about child poverty, welfare rights and related issues such as welfare reform, fair pay, childcare, benefits and tax credits. We regularly feature on television, radio and in print media.
Contact
Journalists can contact John Dickie, Director of CPAG in Scotland on:

Press releases
We regularly put out press statements on the publication of our own policy and research, our campaign activities and in reaction to other events and news stories related to our work. Read our press releases here.
Case studies
We are rarely able to directly provide case studies. We recommend that you contact Poverty Alliance or One Parent Families Scotland.
We encourage journalists in their use of case studies to show sensitivity towards parents who wish to protect their children from the stigma of being labelled as in ‘poverty’ and associated risks such as bullying.
