Getting there
By train
The nearest station is Euston. This is approximately a 10-minute walk away.
King’s Cross St Pancras station is also a short tube journey away (Take the Piccadilly Line to Russell Square) or approximately a 25-minute walk.
By London Underground
The nearest underground stations are:
Russell Square (Piccadilly Line) – 9-minute walk
Exit the station and turn left. Walk towards Russell Square Park. Walk straight across the road and turn left following the park around the corner. Take the first right into Senate House.
Goodge Street (Northern Line) – 9-minute walk
Exit the station and turn right. Take the second left onto Store Street. Keep walking straight until you reach Senate House directly in front of you on Malet Street.
Tottenham Court Road (Central Line and Northern Line) – 10-minute walk
On exiting the station, walk up Tottenham Court Road past the Dominion Theatre, take the third right onto Bayley Street and continue onto Bedford Square, walking towards the British Museum. Take the second left onto Malet Street and immediately turn right into Senate House.
Euston Square (Circle Line, Metropolitan Line and Hammersmith and City Line) – 10-minute walk
Exit the station onto Gower Street. Walk south down Gower Street, keeping the University College London (UCL) buildings on your left. After about 300 metres, turn left onto Torrington Place. Turn right onto Malet Street at the next major crossroads. Walk straight past the back of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art then arrive at Senate House.
Euston Station (Victoria Line and Northern Line) – 16-minute walk
On exiting the station, cross over Euston Road and walk straight down either Endsleigh Street or Taviton Street. Both will take you to Russell Square Park. Once you reach the park, turn right and follow the park round the corner and turn right into Senate House. If you end up in SOAS University you need to walk back to the park and walk one street further in the opposite direction to the university.
By bus
The closest bus stops are Tottenham Court Road or Russell Square (Numbers 7, 24, 29, 68, X68, 73, 91, 134, 168 and 188).
