About the event
Since our founding meeting at Toynbee Hall in 1965, CPAG has campaigned for policies that reduce family poverty – from child benefit and the minimum wage to free school meals. Our work has helped shape national strategies on child poverty and improve the lives of millions of children.
Yet with 4.5 million children still growing up in poverty today, the challenge remains urgent. This event will reflect on our history and consider the action needed now to create a fairer future.
Keynote speaker: Rt Hon Gordon Brown
