Refund policy

Books and posters

You have the right to cancel your order up to 14 working days, starting from the day after your items have been delivered.  All returns must be authorised in advance by CPAG's Business Team. Please contact us by phone (0207 837 7979 9am-5pm Monday-Friday) or email bookorders@cpag.org.uk

Items can be returned to us under the following conditions:

  • You have contacted CPAG in advance of returning the items within 14 days of receipt and books are sent back to CPAG within 10 working days after approval from the Business Team. 
  • Books are returned to us in their original condition.

When returning items, repackage the items securely and send back to us together with the resons for return and the delivery note and/or receipt and state whether you woudl like a refund or a replacement. 

If you are returning an item because it was damaged when you received it, or if we have supplied you with the incorrect product, our sales team will arrange a replacement and for the item to be collected. If you are returning items for any other reason you will need to send these back at your own expense. When we receive the items and are happy with their condition (they must be saleable) we will issue you with a refund. 

Returns by post are made at your own risk. We recommend that you use an insured registered mail service as returns not received by us cannot be credited to you.  

Training and events bookings

Very occasionally, there are not enough participants to make a course viable and in this situation, CPAG reserves the right to cancel a course. This can be done up to 2 weeks in advance of the date of the course. We will endeavour to find suitable alternative arrangements or refund you in this instance.  

If, for any reason, you need to cancel a booking, the following cancellation fees apply:

  • If you cancel more than 28 days from the course date, a £25 cancellation fee will apply.
  • If you cancel more than 14 days from the course date 50% of the course feww will be charged. 
  • If you cancel within 14 days of the course date, you will be charged the full fee. 

Cancellations must be made in writing to training@cpag.org.uk

Membership and subscriptions

You have the right to cancel membership and subscriptions up to 14 working days following payment. Please contact membership@cpag.org.uk to request a refund. Any items shipped to you in advance of your cancellation must be returned to CPAG in advance of the refund.  

After this time, membership and subscriptions are non-refundable (both in full or in part).
