Hours: 35 per week. CPAG operates a ‘core hours’ and flexi/TOIL (Time Off In Lieu) policy. Flexible working arrangements will be considered (e.g. part-time, compressed hours).
Salary: Band C Grade 95% (£42,605 – pro rata) plus 5.64% of salary pension employer contribution.
Contract: 6 month fixed-term contract. This post may be suitable for secondment with the agreement of current employer.
Location: Glasgow but you will be able to agree a pattern of regular remote working with your line manager
About the role
As Development Officer (Income Maximisation in Schools) you will play a lead role in looking at the actions needed at different levels to sustainably embed advice in schools across Scotland. You’ll be involving and engaging schools, advice services and other partners to develop practical recommendations which can be used to improve provision nationally. You will also be helping to develop resources and professional learning to increase awareness and confidence in schools around financial entitlements and pathways to income maximisation support.
You will be based within the Cost of the School Day team at CPAG in Scotland and will work closely with Welfare Rights, Digital and Policy colleagues.
