Signing up for a subscription
Our other handbooks are available on subscription. Go to cpag.org.uk/subscriptions to find out more about our different online subscriptions and what they cover.
Add the subscription you’ve chosen to your shopping cart.
Complete the checkout process. You’ll be given the option of paying by card or requesting an invoice. At the end of the checkout, you’ll see a link to CPAG Welfare Rights where you can access the content in your subscription straight away.
If you’re looking to purchase multiple subscriptions for a whole team, please get in touch with us at [email protected] or call us on 020 7837 7979. The setup process is slightly different, and we can also offer discounts on large orders.
Logging in
Go to CPAG Welfare Rights and navigate to the content you’re looking for. If it’s an online handbook you’ll be prompted to log in.
On the login page, enter your email address and password.
If you're a subscriber, please use the email address you entered when you bought the subscription. If you’re not sure which one you used, check your inbox for the confirmation email.
Once you’ve entered your details, you’ll be redirected back to the page you were on.
If you still don’t have access to the content you would like to read/use, you may need to upgrade your subscription. Check what’s covered in your subscription or contact us at [email protected] or on 020 7837 7979.

Copying, citing and bookmarking content
Copying text
The quickest and easiest way to copy text from an online handbook is to select the text you want to copy, then in the popup, choose 'Copy this'. You can then paste the selected text into your case notes or wherever you need it.
Citing text
To cite a specific piece of text, select the text you want to copy, then in the popup, choose 'Cite this'. Select the button 'Copy citation text'. You can then paste the citation into your case notes or wherever you need it.
Using bookmarks
What are bookmarks?
Bookmarks allow you to:
- add an online ‘post-it note’ to text within a handbook, to help you find it again easily
- add some text to any bookmark you make
How do I create a bookmark?
You can either bookmark a whole page or part of a page.
To bookmark a specific piece of text, select the text you want to copy, then in the popup, choose 'Bookmark this'.
If you wish, write a note about the bookmark, then select ‘Save bookmark’.
How do I see my bookmarks for a particular handbook?
Go to the handbook. In the left-hand pane, select 'My bookmarks'.
How do I see all my bookmarks?
The All my bookmarks page will soon show all your bookmarks across different books.
We’re currently in the process of moving all our handbooks to this new platform. Until that work is complete, you'll only see your bookmarks for the books we've already moved.
