Scotland Webinar:  Hello ADP, goodbye PIP - transferring to Scottish adult disability payment 13 September 2022

From 29 August 2022, existing personal independence payment (PIP) claimants will begin to transfer to adult disability payment (ADP). Children getting child disability payment (CDP) are already transferring to adult disability payment as they approach their 18^th birthday. Aimed at people who are already familiar with the PIP rules, this webinar will get you up to speed on how the process will work.

• Some similarities and differences in entitlement conditions
• How the ADP regulations deal with some important PIP caselaw
• How ADP claims are made and decided

Transferring from PIP to ADP  

• Automatic transfers to ADP

Transferring from CDP to ADP   

• When a young person can and must claim ADP
• Effects of different outcomes of the ADP claim
• Tactics for maximising income
