Our seminar It’s time to go – universal credit and managed migration took place on Thursday 23 November 2023. We discussed how people in Scotland are now moving to universal credit through the managed migration process. 

We heard about the latest developments and shared tactics on how best to help clients manage the move. We considered how to make the most of opportunities to maximise income and looked at issues that particularly affect people in Scotland.

Alison Gillies is a welfare rights worker with CPAG in Scotland and an author of CPAG’s Welfare Benefits and Tax Credits Handbook and the Children’s Handbook Scotland.

Claire Hall leads on CPAG’s test cases and is Head of Strategic Litigation.

Angela Toal is a welfare rights worker with CPAG in Scotland’s Benefits for Students in Scotland service. She is an author of CPAG’s Welfare Benefits and Tax Credits Handbook and the Benefits for Students in Scotland Handbook.
