Personal independence payment (PIP) is the main disability benefit for working-age people. Getting an award of PIP can significantly increase income and so it is a crucial benefit for advisers and others to know about. This course will give you an understanding of the main rules and help you to identify people who may be entitled. The course is aimed at advisers with little or no experience of PIP.
The course covers:
• Who is entitled to PIP
• How to claim
• How the PIP assessment works
This half-day introductory level course will be delivered online via Zoom from 10am to 1pm with a half hour break from 11.15 – 11.45.
