Applications opened for the best start grant in Scotland on 1 June, and now is a good time for families to make applications for the clothing grant and free school meals too - which can really help to reduce the cost of going back to school for those on low incomes. Changes to benefits in Scotland due to coronavirus outbreak

We were very sad to learn that our longstanding friend and inspiration, John Veit-Wilson, died on 10 May. He was CPAG's last remaining founder member. John was a Trustee for many years and an intellectual power house on our policy committee. He will be sadly missed.
