CPAG's new training programme 2023/24

Our new training programme is now available to download in a handy booklet format, with course listings all the way through to April 2024.

New courses for this programme include training on using medical evidence in benefit appeals, and our new two-morning course on universal credit migration – the end of the line.

CPAG has also collaborated with Disability Rights UK to create benefit essentials, an online introduction to the benefits system, with a focus on how to help people obtain benefits when they are unable to work due to a health condition or disability.

Popular staples - including our foundational introduction to welfare benefits course and practical training on best practice in completing the PIP questionnaire - have been expanded, and we have also added our first set of face-to-face training dates for 2023, taking place from our office in Central London. Attendees on our face-to-face programme will receive a FREE book, especially selected for each course from CPAG’s What You Need to Know series (valued at £16).

All our courses feature expert guidance from experienced trainers, as well as access to exclusive resources created to support your benefits advice work. Our online and face-to-face sessions are designed to be interactive, with plenty of time for questions and in-depth learning. For further support, advisers can also contact CPAG’s Welfare Rights Team on our FREE advice service by phone and email.

You can browse our courses online, book places, download the programme and share it all in a few clicks! You can also view all upcoming courses on our website, listed by subject or date.
