Francesca Hogg

Poverty Proofing Practice Adviser

Since November 2019, Francesca has been the Poverty Proofing Practice Adviser at Children North East (CPAG's partner organisation for the UK Cost of the School Day project). Francesca provides quality assurance of the poverty proofing model in schools taking part in the project.

Cost of the School Day Scotland Project Manager  

Sara has worked on Cost of the School Day since it began in 2014. She looks after work with school communities, resource development, training and good practice sharing in Scotland, helping even more schools and local authorities develop Cost of the School Day approaches. She loves reading books, eating and hanging out with her family and friends.

Alison Brown

Information Officer
As the Information Officer for Cost of the School Day in Scotland, Alison develops resources and communication to support schools and local authorities in their work to reduce financial barriers to education for children from low income families, using research and learning from our work with school communities. Alison likes to spend her spare time catching up with friends, watching films, drawing, pottering in the allotment, and attempting to beat her children at Scrabble.

Kirsty Campbell

Cost of the School Day Practitioner (Moray)

Kirsty has worked at CPAG Scotland since November 2019. In her previous role Kirsty worked with young carers. Her role involves working with school communities across Moray for the Cost of the School Day Project. In her spare time she likes to walk her very naughty beagle Nelson.

Cost of the School Day Practitioner (Coventry)

Kirsty has worked on the CoSD team since November 2019. She helps school communities across Coventry to find ways to make the school day fairer so that no child misses out or feels worried because of money. Kirsty loves walking her dog, sharing time with her family and visiting new places.

Cost of the School Day Practitioner (Neath Port Talbot)

Kathryn has worked at CPAG since March 2020. Her role involves working with school communities in Neath Port Talbot for the Cost of the School Day Project. In her spare time, she enjoys illustrating Welsh landscapes and photography. She also collects notebooks and journals of all shapes and sizes to document memories of being a new parent.

Rhian joined CPAG in November 2020 and works with schools in Rhondda Cynon Taf on the Cost of the School Day project. Outside of work she's into cooking, running and being outside as much as possible with her boys and the dog. She used to love reading, travelling and socialising!
